History of R.B.P. 267 - 'R. H. Bell. Memorial'
The first warrant for R.B.P. 267 was issued in 1938. The Preceptory had their inaugural meeting on the 16th May 1338.
The first Worshipful Master was Sir Knt. Richard Cregan, 1938 – 1941.
The Preceptory was installed at Kilmoriarty Orange Hall on Thursday 12th May 1938. Sir Knt Alex Adair, D.D.M. preciding and Sir Knt. W. Wilson, Former Chaplain of R.B.P. 503 was in the Deputy Master's chair. The District chaplain Sir Knt. David England was also in attendance.
R.B.P. 267 paraded with their first banner on the 13th July 1938. The banner was painted by ‘Briggetts' in Belfast and cost approx £22-12-6
R.B.P. 267 unfurled their present banner on the 23rd June 1967. The banner was unfurled by Miss Mary Ruddell. The banner was purchased from Purval and sons in the White house Randalstown for the princely sum of £99-19-00. The banner was painted by the well known banners painters ‘Briggett' in Belfast.
Kilmoriarty R.B.P. 267 hold a Christmas Carol Service on the second Monday in December each year. They also hold an Annual Church Service Parade in May on the last Sunday every year and parade from Kilmoriarty Orange Hall to Vinecash Presbyterian Church, this parade is well attended each and every year. The members of RBP also collect and donate a sum of money to a chosen charity each and every year.
